Pros
- when the offices were open, the amenities - healthcare is one of the best I have seen - majority of the people I worked with were amazing and fun to be around
Cons
- FB knows they are on the line to create a diverse workforce and have been struggling for a while with it. With all the "effort" going into mass hiring of BIPOC, there is little to no consideration for how to retain. There is constant censorship on the intra-Workplace conversations, discrimination during PSC, and worst the silent exiting of employees that frame BIPOCs to be resigning. All the hush money they offer exiting employees help keep up the facade - With such rapid growth, inept individual contributors were forced into management positions and now they spend all their time trying to keep their friends at the top and everyone else in desperation to advance. This also means there are far too many bad managers - HR is a hot mess of incompetence whether it was related to PSC, career growth, everyday issues - The Kool-Aid FB forces through their infrastructure keeps many brilliant employees blinded from their true potential of getting competitive pay elsewhere.
