Cons
Meta's good when you are aligned with your manager on project, and project is viewed as important, and project aligns with your skillset. But you are always one re-org or manager change or project shift or cancellation from "low impact". Annual ranking is aggressive stackrank that focuses solely on last year ... so you can be "Exceeds" or "Strong exceeds" for several annual cycles and if the last year's project gets cancelled (due to reorg) you will have low impact and be rated below your peers, especially at IC5 and above.
