      Awesome opportunities, though a sink or swim culture

      Pros

      At Facebook, you have access to an endless number of opportunities, contacts, and perks. You're working with highly qualified people and the benefits/pay are really, really amazing. I didn't fully appreciate these positive aspects about Facebook until I left to work for other tech companies in the bay area.

      Cons

      Definitely a sink or swim culture. You can either do really well at Facebook or flounder around without much support.

      It's great that you enjoyed your time at Facebook. We know that it's really important for the people who work here to have the support that they need (everyone is different) so that can play to their strengths and feel like they are at their best. We want to encourage employees who might need extra support to reach out to their Manager and/or HR partner - supporting each other is very important at Facebook.
