- Compensation - Scale (able to make a lot of impact on the right projects)
Cons
- On call is very invasive and WLB is bad, even when not oncall. Expectation to be available all the time. - High accountability for outcomes, but low ownership - Promotions are lagging, but more about "time and place" -- you'll get it eventually, but not accelerated regardless of merit and trajectory.
