      Pros

      If in the right role with the right manager the interactions with customers and Microsoft leaders is great. Benefits are top notch and comparable with all of the big tech companies.

      Cons

      Stay away from the Data and AI roles if there is a SQL Server component to the job. You are expected to audit (through a cloud economics assessment) 20% of customers per year minimum. There are many terrible managers who have no view of their direct reports other than a cog in the wheel. Reviews and level of engagement has more to do with personal relationships and favoritism than actual results.
