Pros

Competitive compensation, opportunity to move to very different technology domains without having to change company, major industry impact is possible at most levels of employment if you work on a high impact project

Cons

Work experience varies widely depending on the division and group you are in. Some groups have very top down bureaucratic subculture that can get in the way of agile progress, inconsistency of impact needed for promotions and rewards across the company

Pros

Been here a while and while it's always been fun and challenging where I work, it seems like the rest of the company is finally shaping up.

Cons

Rampant politics in some groups. Still plenty of embarrassing failures and lack of consistent approach to quality. Salary not as competitive at it once was.
