-Toxic management expects delivery at all costs -Maintenance and bug fixes aren’t valued, only KPIs -Career progression is almost entirely dependent on manager and what work they choose to give you. Creating impact outside of the scope of what your manager assigns you is seen as insubordination. -Low pay which is falling further behind the rest of the industry year after year -Incomprehensible quantities of technical debt created by sky high turnover and pressure from management to deliver KPIs quickly and then abandon them -chaotic on call rotations with little to no onboarding for new developers. Expect to be pages continuously for the entire duration of your rotation.
