Cons

There are limited opportunities to explore new things, and a lot depends on the organization you’re part of. My direct manager tends to focus on the negatives, which can be quite demotivating. His communication style is often difficult to engage with, as he tends to lecture more than listen, making it hard to have constructive discussions.

The hours are good, typically from 9-5 and min overtime.

Cons

The company culture has gone way down since the company announced work more with less. With the pay and periodic layoff events, I am not sure Microsoft is still the same company in everyone's imgination.
