      Pros

      MS is a great company to experience scale. Any product you work on has to be ready to be used by thousands of user, likely across many different countries. This brings with it challenges both on engineering and operational level. Moreover, with there being so many different products if you're unhappy with the work you do there's good chance for internal transfer to a different team.

      Cons

      Depending on what you work on, sometimes there's a lot of slow processes or red tape to go through before you can release a change.

      Working with smart people. Comp package is nice.

      Cons

      Views employees as cattle. Too much red tape. Teams got political after sensing an impending layoff. This resulted in people working 12 hours a day and work over weekends, all to maintain face to avoid layoffs.
