Pros

- If you're in the club, you've got it made. - If you make it to VP it's a great place, they deliver zero impact but get rewarded big.

Cons

- You have no voice, do as your told. - DEI is in full force. Ineffective leaders hold their roles purely because of diversity. - Not an actual results oriented organization, they just claim to be.

Pros

- Lots of company benefits (wellbeing stipend, employee resource groups, funds for additional learning/certifications) - In my opinion, compared to the other biggest tech companies, Microsoft does way more charitable work and projects that contribute positively to lives around the world

Cons

- Management does not live up to its espoused D&I values. Changed my pronouns during my tenure here and despite my pronouns being visible on my Teams name and email signature, and personally providing educational materials to coworkers multiple times over, NO ONE (except for other queer folks) used my proper pronouns. - No consistency in daily schedule. Meetings were constantly appearing on my calendar (or being cancelled) at the very last minute. More often than not I was on back-to-back calls the entire day, no break for lunch. East coast USA time zones always took precedent, despite headquarters being in Pacific time zone. Most days I was pressured into being on a business call beginning at 7am PT, despite being told that I had the flexibility to determine my own working hours.
