Pros

1. Working on a product that market loves and buys. Product-led company is so much better than sales-led (in my experience as a PM). 2. Company for people who want to grow professionally faster than at more established orgs. Come here to work, gain new skills, try new things that haven't been done in the company before you. And you can grab more and more responsibility based on your appetite as opposed to being a "PM of one button"; not always possible at larger companies. 4. Making an impact and seeing user happiness after you delivered new functionality is so cool. 5. Compensation is above the market + there are stock options. 6. CEO with great vision who will always stay a PM at heart: this helps us build important strategic things rather than bells and whistles. 7. Friendly and respectful culture - never have I seen one employee harass or disrespect another. Some newcomers shared that Miro is way nicer than their previous more aggressive / competitive companies.

Cons

1. You should be very clear about how much you are willing to contribute: Miro is in hypergrowth and needs people who will really care about business and professional development. Please don't join if you just want a laid back place to spend time and get a nice salary: I have seen a couple of PMs who haven't delivered anything impactful in a year and it's beyond my comprehension. 2. If you are looking for a strong mentor and manager, I have to admit there aren't enough strong senior managers, and if you are a strong pro, you may have to coach your manager too for some time :) 3. Same with a clear career map: this is not a place where one will give you a guarantee of what your role/grade will be in 1 year, 2 years, 3 years. Other than that - speak to a couple of people in your function and get more insights!

Pros

Great colleagues, active attempts from people on the floor to create the best possible environment Product is ok and lots of good attention to end user needs & UX/Design

Cons

Senior Management has no idea how to run a company, let alone scale one fast. Some good people in middle management but serious problems at the top of the company. Heading towards command& control which will likely get worse now that the competition is getting serious after the pandemic. Hiring & recruitment is a trainwreck Software product but little to no value on quality engineering at scale, multiple layers of patchwork with no incentives to clean up. If anything a feature factory but badly run. Everything is important and urgent, which means nothing is. Growing rapidly but not managing those changes. Extremely bad at communicating, lacking most real information. Cheerleader culture. Nice values but not living up to them.
