Pros

- Salary and benefits are quite okay - Great colleagues - A product that people love

Cons

There are many things to say here, but I'll keep it brief. A lot of politics and favouritism, upper management has been a mess for a long time, constant change in direction and priorities. Many people ended up on burnout leave and a lot of them were impacted during the layoffs. On the outside, the company is all about empathy and it's people, but in reality the recent layoffs showed a very different picture. A lot changed over the past few years as the company is heading into it's next Americanised chapter, in the end your just a number.

Pros

- Some of the coolest co-workers you will have

Cons

- Pay is substandard - Leadership is from an era of easy money and cannot navigate hard times nor know what actual work is. - You spend more time dealing with internal politics to help Leadership justify their jobs while ICs do the heavy lifting. - GTM isn't solid on the Enterprise sales motion. - When leadership plans or objectives fail you will be reminded everyday about how bad you are as a sales person.

Pros

Peers are very helpful to each other and also Miro has successfully acquired multiple talents across the globe. Co-workers are smart and it's a joy to work with these individuals. Besides that the salary is good.

Cons

Very intransparent leadership. Miro really changes the strategy every three month and the employees do not understand why. Looks like the leadership is not confident and determined with their decisions. A lot of people are afraid that another wave of layoffs will come. In the field it's not possible to really focus on strategic sales.

Miro Response

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your perspective with us. We genuinely appreciate your insights and want to assure you that your feedback is taken seriously. We're pleased to hear that you find your colleagues at Miro supportive and that you value the talented individuals you work with. We acknowledge your concerns regarding the frequency of changes in our strategic direction. The past year has been marked by rapid shifts in market conditions, necessitating agile responses from our team. While we strive to make the best decisions, we don't always get it right, and we see the need to continue iterating. To ensure transparency and provide clarity on our strategic objectives, we have made efforts to share our long-term strategy and OKRs with the sales teams at the start of the year. However, we understand that there's still room for improvement in ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed. We encourage you to reach out to your manager or our dedicated people business partner to discuss any specific concerns you have regarding workload or burnout. Your well-being and satisfaction are important to us, and we're here to support you in any way we can. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We're committed to continuous improvement and making Miro a great place to work for everyone. Adam Carr, Global Head of Sales
