Pros

1) Exciting challenges: The breadth and scale of our customers and the vast range of application for our technology present the business and employees with a truly unique and evolving set of challenges to solve. It's recognized here that there's always a better way to do things, and that way changes over time. There's no sacred cows - not even your own. I have an appropriate level of autonomy and support to craft my vision for solving business challenges and iterate to improve. 2) You can't ask for better colleagues: I've worked in both product marketing and product management teams, and I get to work daily with people from every function and region in the organization -this is an incredibly solid bunch of people who aren't just smart and motivated, but have diverse experiences and opinions, and who prioritize success of business and customers over personal gain. 3) Good leadership: Leaders are intense, ask a lot of probing questions, and push for aggressive goals (I'd be concerned if they didn't), but they also listen, are respectful and open to change, and make logical, fact-based decisions. From my experience, leaders genuinely care and do their best to do the right thing by employees, customers and the company.

Cons

This isn't easy and it's not for everyone. Those who are successful in the MuleSoft product team tend to have a vision and chart a clear course, but are also open to new ideas and opinions. They are willing and able to broker compromises and/or change direction as needed when situations or facts change. How will you know if MuleSoft is a good fit? Reviews like this can really only tell you so much. If/when you come in for an interview you'll have the opportunity to meet people and see for yourself.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Strong sales training program Free lunch This isn't a typical make X amount of calls a day and go home role. You own your book of business and work directly with the entire account team, you're not just passing stuff over the fence -- you feel like a part of something bigger

Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult because even as an ADR you're still carrying a quota.

An adventure into uncharted waters

Pros

People are extremely hardworking, and the hiring bar is really high. In the beginning, sometimes you feel like you don't belong there because you're constantly trying to understand different methods and tools, but once you catch up and get in the groove, the rocketship has made space for you too. Since we're exploring into uncharted waters and trying to scale we're constantly trying out different methods and technology - it's exciting to keep learning new software.

Cons

Because high growth makes things a bit messy, some people might be discouraged by how things move. Either we're trying to figure out what the best technology stack is or we're seeking to implement a new process; operations may be choppy and create unnecessary bottlenecks.

Thanks for the feedback! Career growth is definitely critical and as it's something that we've continued to place more importance on as we've grown. People should be able to grow both in their role--through challenging work, great colleagues and coaching from their manager--and beyond by moving into different roles across the company. We've started quarterly check-ins which are meant to ensure that regular career conversations are taking place and want to continue to find ways to support growth. In addition to speaking with their manager and other leaders, employees should also feel comfortable reaching out to People Ops as well.
