They are a steady employer with better than average benefits. They move deliberately with committee like business decisions so it makes it more difficult to make catastrophic decisions.

Cons

Slow moving operation that is not very entrepreneurial. Base compensation is competitive but bonuses are less so and there is no chance for options / restricted stock.

Munich Re, US offers many opportunities to collaborate with our colleagues. There are interesting projects in the innovation space that we are allowed to step up and be a part of. Everyone is very friendly and open to sharing their knowledge.
