      I really am struggling here, some of the people there are nice.

      It is all about the sales department here, no one else is really looked after in terms of recognition, development and growth and do not even think about asking for a rise or opportunity to be promoted up unless you are in the special circle. Being left to prop up your department as staff have got fed up and left is normal here! Do not expect any help, gratitude or thanks. I have heard racist comments from managers here first hand, thought it was worth mentioning in this day and age it is not acceptable at all. Management are only really concerned with their own bonus and pay packet, no assistance from him in creating training or employee growth. Managers and HR are beyond useless they seem to be scared stiff to stick up for their OWN staff and are happy to hang you out to dry so they do not look bad. Avoid, there are plenty more companies you can be employed by.

In respect of the specific issues you raise in your feedback, I would respond as follows: • Recognition – as well as generally encouraging feedback and discussion in numerous ways we have a formal process through which employees have the opportunity to discuss their career development and training through the twice-yearly appraisal process. • Salary – all salaries are reviewed on an annual basis in June each year. • Racist comments – Arkadin is an equal opportunities employer and does not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind. If you witness any evidence of such behaviour you should contact the HR department.

      Pros

      Good communication amongst peers on the assignment.

      Cons

      You can be a rockstar on the job, but when the project ends there is minimal support for the next assignment. Also - don't lose your spouse while working there, you will be given 3 days bereavement and be expected to return to work without any impact on your performance and mental wellbeing. As a consultant with this company you have the job security/stability of tissue paper in a waterfall.

      Colleagues are friendly. The global "Group" team is very helpful. Startup environment.

      Cons

      Unfortunately DD North America have very poor management starting with the VP of the department. No incentive of growth in the company or any appreciation of the quality of work you do for them. Bad leadership and hierarchy between DDNA and DD Group.
