Pros

Top notch technologies. The most complex chip and SW development jobs you can find anywhere. Still maintains a startup culture, where each individual can contribute in a big way. Great if you are straight out of school and a top performer, you don't have to spend years doing menial tasks getting "experience".

Cons

Long hours. Definitely not a place you can go and coast. If you want that you are better of at Intel or Sun.

Pros

The pay is above average for the industry. Work hours are flexible, unless you have to go to meetings of course. Another upside is you get to experience many different types of jobs, moving around from team to team. You don't just get stuck with a very specific job.

Cons

You must put in a lot of hours. You will definately have to work overtime, and you are expected to. Employees staying until midnight is not an uncommon occurance.
