      Not a good company to start and build your career

      Nvidia does not have any pros.

      Cons

      Indian management is dummy. All is controlled by there bosses in US. The management does not have a spine to speak over an issue. Apart from that you spend your precious time while installing the OS over and over again. Most of the occasion you work on bugs. Soon you will forget whatever you learnt in your college. Very few company which work in the domain in which nvidia is working. It is difficult to switch job if you stick there for too long. You can join nvidia if you are very innovative about how to kill your time.

      Pros

      NVIDIA does provide a high-tech environment for people that love technology. You will get to do some pretty interesting things. Also, if you are a gamer, you get to see a lot of the behind the scenes in the industry and get advanced peeks at everything coming out.

      Cons

      The Code of Ethics is just for show - we were asked to do some pretty questionable things while I was still there. No-one on the management track gets to learn anything new - you are on your own. Most senior management is grown in-house so they lack actual management skills. They just have a deep understanding of the domain.

      Cutting edge technology Many smart people Management are easy to talk to and follow on employee requests $1 Dinners

      Cons

      Not everyone is passionate about the products. Some very senior engineers are hard to approach. Deadlines... the result was needed yesterday! Tools have bugs, but nobody to fix them due to lack of staffing.
