      Great place for a technological career

      Pros

      Cutting edge technologies; great name recognition; a dynamic CEO and management team always coming up with new ideas to stay ahead of competition; pursuit of "green" ideals; enjoyable all-hands meetings every quarter; solid software architecture conceived from the start of the company, not patchy software modified haphazardly; smart peers; great products to be proud of; good availability of training materials and courses.

      Cons

      Too focused on graphics, although new technologies are being added to the company's arsenal: SoC, parallel computing, physics processing, etc; people may be unexpectedly loaned to different departments to redistribute resources as needed (exceptionally).

      Pros

      Work in a challenging environment where good enough is never enough, very exciting and challenging. You are always in comptition and to survive, this pushes you to constantly be better. Life is always exciting, when things are good you are rewarded very well financially. Many people get the big cars and nice houses.

      Cons

      Never is it good enough, you are always pushed and you have to always be going at 110%. This is difiicult to always be going at. The benefits package is mediocre for anything other than stock. The HR team are pretty much idiots and can be replaced pretty quickly with rocks.

      Pros

      Cutting edge technology! Many challenges are in here since most of the products NV making is very unique and highly integrated. You could have a lot of fun for pursuing cutting edge technologies and see how were they eventually realized to products.

      Cons

      Poor benefit and no sick day. If you are sick, you have to use your vacation. Compensation is very much depanding on stock price. Typically, you need to stay at work for more than 8 hrs. If you are work-life balance seeker, this place definitely not for you. Due to the very fast pace of product developement schedule, you soon realize you are becoming exceution machine not innovative thinker.
