Pros

Very talented engineers working on cutting edge technology; helpful colleagues and I had two great hands-on managers who inspired me a lot. Excellent internal tool for physical design. Compensation was competitive.

Cons

Most of the brain work in Physical design are done by CAD team. Found it tough to switch teams internally, not many products were released in mobile segment then. Company was on the learning curve in a race which is very competitive.

Pros

Good learning. Flexible working hours. Innovative/cutting edge work.

Cons

Appraisal process is not at all transparent. Salary not at par with the industry standard Frequent road map changes Top management have no clue what they are doing Cost cutting measures everywhere is very apparent Some of the senior mgmt people are just there to draw salary and without adding any real value. Marketing team is unable to market some of the best performing products

Pros

Flexible working hours, work from home option, competitive salary package, global culture. Work on cutting edge technology and have equal opportunities on global programs. You have a personal space for Innovations and it is highly appreciated. So there is a room to grow out of stereotypical processes.

Cons

Opportunities for individual growth to be provided. This will ensure happier faces and brighter minds to contribute more. Somehow the mobile division is stuck with one chip per year, they should become more competitive and deliver multiple chips in a year to stay ahead in competition.
