Pros

Get to work on some pretty cool stuff, depending on the role you are in. Usually it is easy to move between roles in the company and try out different stuff

Cons

Slave drivers, staffing is skewed, which means some roles are very hectic while others are sitting idle. Overall, you will end up working 50+ hours a week, atleast for a few months in a year. The hierarchy is shallow, which means you almost never get promoted. No fixed career path like other companies.

Pros

Good Compensation. Lunch and Dinner (almost free) Food is typically $5.50 and Nvidia pays $5.0 Its easy to work from home since it is a email culture.

Cons

Working weekends. Too much of email and less interaction. AT the mercy of market forces so lot of projects are cancelled. Good work is tend to be given to young people and grunt work to experienced people.

Pros

NVIDIA is a great place to work, with challenging tasks and intelligent people. Some may find the workload and expected commitment too high. The benefits to employees are very good (esp. stock options) and managers acknowledge people who know their stuff and work hard. Promotions and salary are based on your work and nothing else, which is nice. The overall company management is very enthused and energetic which helps make it exciting to work there. Overall, this is a very good place to work if you have the time to commit to work, otherwise the work/life balance can be very hard to maintain.

Cons

By far the worst part about NVIDIA is the hours that many employees work.
