Pros

Working with nagarro for more than 2 years as a Lead. Fortunately lot of cons 1. Good Salary across all profiles 2. Challenging Work 3. Work from home facility 4. Best company for freshers when it comes to learning curve 5. Shuttle service 6. Good to see that nagarro is now into damage control mode when it comes to designations and promotions. Now beyond associate lead position, they have introduced internal interviews and some promotion criteria.

Cons

Nagarro has its descent enough share of cons : 1. Middle management is in bad shape. Delivery managers are inexperienced and have very little capability to handle pressure; not to mention politics in many projects. You might get lucky to be in a project with good management. 2. Pre sales team would provide any estimate to grab the project leading to the development team slogging and working on weekends to fulfill their commitments. Agile here means nothing in small projects. It is still management driven. 3. Resourcing is highly mismanaged like many companies. No 2 people in this department are on the same page. 4. Growing in terms of volume and hence there is a drastic drop in the quality of lateral hiring at all levels (less interviews rounds, IQ test replacing the apti tests) 5. Huge difference between salaries of QA and Devs. Not to worry, despite of the difference, nagarro still pays better than most of the companies in Delhi NCR even to QA. 6. Designations here means nothing. You would find more directors and ADs here; even when compared to a company with head count of 10000. 7. Not recommended for managers from big companies as the mindset here is completely different.

Nagarro Response

Dear colleague, Thanks for your frank and open feedback, listing out areas for improvement while still giving Nagarro 4 stars and calling it a "good company to work with". I would agree with some of your points ("the mindset here is completely different" - it's by design, and some of the stuff you say about resourcing - watch for the Resourceful Hackathon a week or two from now) but I would contest others sportingly ("drop in the quality of lateral hires" - in fact we moved to standardized IQ tests instead of custom apti tests in India so that we could assess the capabilities of hires more precisely against international benchmarks). Anyway, thanks for your inputs. I'm always amazed that feedback on Glassdoor by Nagarro folks is mostly well considered and balanced. 👍👍 Regards, Manas
