Pros

A very employee friendly company. Provides flexible work hours and work from home when in need. Provides good opportunities to grow as a professional. Encourages innovative ideas and recognises outstanding performances. Overall a great experience to work with Nagarro!

Cons

HR personals need to be more effective and innovative. Generally employees are disappointed after generic discussions with HR.

Thank you for your feedback. I absolutely agree with you - there is tremendous energy and skill in the younger folks at Nagarro. And we really want to be able to build a culture that nurtures this drive and potential. It is something that is often the topic of discussion that i find myself in. Your point about HR team members being generic in their interactions is well taken. I understand where you are coming from and will discuss with team members on how we can improve. The main goal of this team is employee happiness and therefore improving upon this aspect is important for us. Of course, by the nature of our work, there are also interactions that we take which are not always favorable to employee expectations - though we try our best to reduce them. Let us know whenever you feel that there are areas that we can improve upon. We really do welcome the feedback. Thank you once again for taking out the time to do this.

Pros

Have worked for 7-8 years. Experience has been good if not excellent. Great deal of focus on technology. Have been involved in direct client interactions from an early stage. Use to have good onsite opportunities. Co-workers are nice and generally environment is supportive. New management is working on some forward looking plan. Company is growing.

Cons

HR has been on downhill since the long time mentor moved out. Was a great shock, specially to us long timers. Nothing happens in HR department except for show events. Takes really long time to get any response for questions put up. In name of culture heard about a senior manager being fired for taking se*ual favours from the girl team member. Other 2 stories are also in circles. Some Director level persons are rude to their team members. Imbalance of work is growing. Certain weak points are always there in all companies.

Let me first thank you for taking the time to post a review here. Feedback (in any form) helps us make course correction and introspect. I would like to provide you with some insight into what is currently happening within HR. We are not as bad as it seems. It is worrying for me that you feel that responsiveness of HR team is low since we have been working on initiatives to increase responsiveness. We have restructured our teams so that they are more independent in decision making. More people are being added to the HR teams to provide the necessary bandwidth in people as we scale. HR team members are being more responsive on various channels such as Yammer. If there are areas that you need responses for, I encourage you to write directly to me. I can also then investigate how we could have been more responsive for you. I accept that there are some areas where we have a temporary slowdown as we are redesigning some aspects of people management processes. Also we are currently undertaking a huge project for implementing a modern HCM system along with KPMG which should streamline our HR processes a lot. With regards to your other comments about some folks not being in line with the culture of the company. These are things that any company will face and we are working continuously to improve acceptance and adoption of our culture by people who join us. Overall I know that we are not as bad as you may be feeling, but your impression is what matters most. And therefore we need to work harder to improve this. Please do reach out to me if you would like to discuss some of these points and thank you again for taking the time to provide this feedback.

Pros

good salary hikes if you have good terms with your manager and team lead

Cons

There are people in the organization who act as if they own the place and they pay salary to people reporting to them. There is almost zero implementation of the HR policies (if there are any). There are very few projects in some domains and people are forced to work in the same project even if they are dying to move out. There is just one project in the Security domain and 5 team members have quit the project(in a span of 4 months) just because of the behavior of the manager and Team Lead. Some of them raised their concerns with higher management and were assured of help but at the end there was no action taken and the TL and manager are still behaving in the same fashion forcing the rest of the team to consider moving out. They are a bunch of unprofessional guys who are using the organization for fulfilling their dreams of autocracy. If you are looking forward to joining Nagarro (esp the Security domain), make sure you are a thick skinned person and have a boot licking nature. That is the only way you can survive in that project!

Dear colleague, I am really sorry to read your post. It does happen that some managers are not in line with the company's stated and lived culture. Further, in some areas we do not have the scale to give people a choice of who they want to work with. I would venture, however, that in general we are good organization. But in the end the experience that you have is the experience that matters, so I take it that there is still some work to do to align managers to the company's ethos. By the way, we do take exit interviews and I do get the summarized reports every week. However, most people aren't frank in the exit interviews. Incidentally, we are rolling out an HR Management System with KPMG with a lot of special design to take are of individuals in a way that no solitary manager can sabotage it. Thanks again for your feedback. Feel free to write to me directly as well.
