Pros

Won't consider pros as cons are huge

Cons

This review is intended for 1. Investors in this company, 2. candidate looking for Job at this company, and 3. employee who are suffering at this company blaming themselves without realizing the company management is the cause of their misery 4. Their current clients and future clients This is review is not for the company management as they know what they are doing yet do in their selfish interest. The company that shows that they are more employee friendly are much more unfriendly at the backdoor for employees They took advantage of COVID, they push the employee appraisal cycle indefinitely still reaping their benefit till today at the employee cost They slashed paycheck of the employee at time of COVID and partially increased as variable which used to be employee fixed component later They are so cheap they make people from testing background as development manager who don't understand pain of development In this company if you deserve something and yet if you don't fight for it, you won't get it At some location they send Christmas sweet containing egg, if you are vegetarian, it's your fault They have taking the advantage of remote location to people home town and screw their career growth and financial growth In this company you will remain coder life long , you will get sense that your designation is changing at many times but you are at same role for life long They don't groom you to next role but expect if you are already doing the next role they you get next role In this company you will not get experience of various project but forced to continue to one project long time and you over time become not employable for other companies Onsite , they say have many office in the world but its not for you to go They have level up exams which like to see how many skills you have but its for their benefit to put you on any junk project If you reject any project , you will get call from HR , that you cannot so option to reject is mere symbolic If you happen to be in bench , is not a free time , its like working assignment of their choice If you complaint to HR against your manager is a self suicide case , the manager will complaint to client and get you thrown out of project . HR will be mere spectator to many cases like this If they throw annual party to a different location and need to travel , they pay you like you are passenger of sleeper class forget about flight ticket and good stay , you need to spend from you pocket to make it good enough Say if you are leaving from destination location to origin location on same day they will ask to carry luggage with you to office and wont pay for hotel if have to leave in the night Working extra hours is a free lunch for the employer , no compensation for extra hours , even they charge heavily to clients There is a term for people not approving their selfish policy they call "disgruntled employee" They even make many other crimes like they deduct your tax yet they miss to pay to government and if you not vigilant to identify this ins form 16 you ending paying taxes twice If you think you do good work then you will be rewarded , manager play dependency game if you win you get rewarded else you are on you own They don't pay the internet bills you use for company work they make you travel in your personal time so they don't mind to make you travel in taxi over long distance They want high quality and productivity with their bad old laptop they provide you Promotion for those is easy who are not good at work but good at dependency game They will sacrifice you for their client after all the service based company They have an accelerated program where your designation change fast and get paid better that other but you will lose you sleep People work on accelerated program for some time and leave the company People are help hostage for long in the name of L1 visa , keep delaying with one or other reason until they complete the client requirement , finally left back to same place They hire less experience at decent pay and make the experience people to help them , if they do help yet want spoon feed for them Leave are so meagre in this company also they months without leave will go over that they have flex leave concept so you cannot celebrate other religion festival over this they make you work on weekend to save billing for the public holiday the interview for moving to another project is as tough as getting to new company and they will record how many interview you failed before they fire you Let say a component in salary should be employer to pay they reduce the salary and then they pay so what you discussed at joining is of no value This is no less than east idea company who made whole India in slavery , here the company manager believe in divide and rule among employee for their selfish interest , a modern kind of slavery This company at its heart knows India have Hugh population no shortage of resources with Indian laws all in favor of business class does all with absolute impunity against employee How many cases you hear in the news that employee suing their company , they all know "one who has a power of money is always right" Look at their pay hike in comparison to inflation , if you could buy hero splendor bike in 5years back then your income will still be such that you could buy hero splendor bike today People who are good at their work enters in conflict against these injustice and guess who always win, the management and employee either work with low esteem or leaves , and many had left too and will continue to leave this company become big every day not by creating great value in this world but by sucking their client and employees manager will always been on cost cutting with no reason given as cost cutting is done employee and not themselves every month your salary was expected to increase or remain same but in this company we saw salary getting reduced as they change their calculation method For promotion they have internal interview based on assignment, if manager don't want to promote they will wont even read what is written in assignment, and mark you no good to be promoted They used to have a system where you could discussed the feedback given by the manager and its now removed and manager give junk feedback based on their likability factor so be ready to lick their ....

Pros

Overall I only found only 2 Pros : - permanent WFH - Ginger

Cons

Lots of Cons : 1. Project : Allocation is done based on some algorithm prepared internally. You can deny project allocated of course, but then if it was so smooth, it would not have been in cons. Once allocated, you can not ask for change before 18 months. If you request for change after 18 months, it will be a notice of 3 months from project then you will move to bench. Then after being on bench TAP will find you another project. I did not liked this whole process because project allocated is not always skill match or the technologies you would have wanted. Next, project was like from Ice age, started in early 2000 and still stretching on. People in project are working on same project for more than 10 years. These are not 1 or 2 people but almost 50% people are 10+ years in same project. 2. Manager or so called OG (operation Guide): Just Terminology change, a typical service industry manager mindset. I was allotted project on second day of my joining , and manager told me, oh you are given higher salary. I don't understand why he said that on first one on one interaction with manager. Those were the exact words he said on second day of my joining. 3. Interviews : I have given 11 rounds, 6 before joining, 5 after that. After allocating project on second day of my joining, I was told that they will give you an overview. But instead they explain me in 1 liner and told lets have a short interview of 1 hour. Then internally, I have given 3, 4 rounds to all the teams I have joined in my tenure of 5 months. It was like same questions repeating, same answers and same results, congratulations you have cleared. One Client round was also there, which to me, looks like manipulated . He will ask you same set of questions asked previously from other candidates. 4. Salary : Its manipulative. If you have shown them, that you already have an offer, they always give 1.5 -2 Lac more than that. But do keep in mind, they don't offer any perks. You won't have any WFH facilities like internet reimbursement or equipment buyout etc. Insurance policies are also bad. Insurance premium are not at subsidized rate. Attrition Rate: Very high lately more than 20%. That is also manipulative, since they are retaining freshers without work. Fresher they can easily pay as salary is low. Also they do have some other tricks like they offer unpaid leaves to freshers. As Fresher, you cannot raise concern since unemployment is making new high in country. For fresher getting a job is very difficult. But I have scene lot many freshers, who joined as trainee are kept on bench(from 3 to 4 months now). Now I know, you will say this is a pros since they are not laying off. But let me make something very clear, trainees which they have picked are more than capable. They are not guided properly. Worst role is played by the manager(OG) who is supposed to guide them. Instead he just delegates its task to folks who does flattery and nothing else. Daily Scrum: This is a joke. People uses this to show as many excuses as they can to avoid work. Hackathon is a meme. Work timing : Officially its 9 hours, but the problem is , this company is client centric. Nothing matters except client. I have worked for almost 11- 12 hours daily. Major reason for these many hours are the onsite people and people who are doing flattery, to get onsite opportunity. Onsite people starts there work when our day ends. But onsite folks will make sure you will stay 3, 4 hours extra. They will do that, no matter what the excuse. One advice to offshore folks, please do not support them in this ridiculous behavior. Workload : I have felt too much pressure as only I was the only one adding new features. Other were just doing PR review and picking bug fixes. Work assignment pipeline is not clear. You will be assigned stories by everybody. Don't understand, who there scrum coach is. Notice Period: 2 months from day1. I was denied buyout. My manager said we have too much of dependency on you. FYI, when I resigned , I was only 1 week into the project. Now, I don't know, how my dependency is so much. After the resignation, I was forced to complete 2 months and to work like 12 hours daily. Overall It was really bad experience. I had to resign within 2 months of joining. Personally I don' recommend it. It is a typical 1 star company. I recommend to consider other option if you have. I hope it helps you and finds you in good health.

Nagarro Response

Dear ex-colleague, I'm glad you got to travel the world as a consultant. It goes without saying that the salaries we pay are always legal! And in most parts of the world, we pay considerably higher than the average for our industry. We have sophisticated data models that show us that. It is possible that you were in one of the regions where we don't pay as well or somehow your salary was stuck at a certain level for whatever reason. Anyway, all the best for your future. Best regards, Manas
