Pros

Very good appraisal Flexible timing. No other pros

Cons

Lot of politics. Upper management is not helpful. HR policy are not good. Does not allocated project as per your technology stack. If your are lucky then you will get good team and manager. Not a good company to work for more than 1 or 2 years if you want to grow and want to learn new technologies. Very poor location. You will find nepotism.

Pros

Workload for project managers is ok, so work-life balance is good too.

Cons

1. Project managers are not valued at all in the company especially if you are non-technical. They over pamper technical resources so much that PMs are left high and dry. 2. No matter the amount of business you bring to the company, if you do not follow the director blindly, overwork your team and unduly pressurize the client, your efforts will not be recognized. 3. Leadership doesn't bother about PMs even if you try to reach out to them multiple times to discuss account growth. They are least interested in attending meetings even with client C-suite. 4. Directors, at least the ones I worked with, are really badly behaved and don't mind insulting a PM publicly. They micro manage every aspect of your day and expect you to do the same for your team. 5. Before the pandemic, even though there was WFH and leave policy but directors behave as if you are asking for their life when you ask for WFH or leave. 6. PM work is basically just to be the coordinator or punching bag for team, director and client. You can forget quality of work when you join this company. 7. Trainings are through Pluralsight or Udemy, so not really much effort there. Certifications are internal, so no value in the market. Rewards are monthly but with no certificate, just a voucher of 250 INR. Annual rewards are decided based on who's the BU Head's favorite. What else can you expect from this company where in town halls, it's indirectly hinted that PMs are not really needed in the company and that they target to have team leads manage PM work.
