Pros

1. WFH 2. More Tax saving option 3. Employee friendly 4. Like Government job you will have hardly 5 hr max work in a day 5. Interview process are bit harder as compared to other organization , so that company will have good minded people 6. Got Onsite opportunity , you may get more if your client is for travel domain 7. Internal technical session where you can learn and level-up your skills

Cons

1. Due to COVID-19 , company has started pay deduction based on payroll across the board till next 6 month i.e no deduction under 5lpa , 9% deduction between 5 to 10lpa , 12% duduction more than 10lpa 2. Hike and promotion were postponed till next 6 month 3. Company hired me as a guy having 3+ year experience and REST API developer with java 8 and spring boot , but project forcefully allocated to me by TAP where we were working on 20 year old technology . 4. I didn't grow technical as much as i expected 5. Before the proposal of this project , i got 4 more project request by TAP but work related on those project was more into front end side and i have worked more into back end side . So that HR/TAP insisted me to join that project 6. I think , company should re-think about the hiring process , they should hire the people against the position and they need to work a lot in TAP/RAP process 5. In march , lots of projects got ramp-down , a people in bulk are on bench now 6. People in bench feels like we are criminal , we dont know .... when we will be fired ? may be in next 1 month or two ...

Pros

Flexible timing in many projects WFH Office in Gurgaon, Noida and Jaipur Increment is comparable to market standards If you are in a okay project, your work life balance will be good. If you are allocated in a project which is not too old, you may get good quality work.

Cons

If you aren't lucky, some managers may suck the life out of you. Telling the HR about this is of no use. You will be then told that you are not able to perform with good velocity. Most of the projects are now old so most of the work is maintenance, in some projects, months may pass by without writing single line of code. The oldest projects dont want to bring any new tech stack. The management doesn't trust employees with respect to tech stack. For example if you work in .Net with JS(like backbone or react) as frontend, you won't be ever give the opportunity to work in Angular unless you have experience. Thats funny. Even after getting hired, you will be on bench and will need to give interviews to leads/Managers of the project which is proposed to you(in office or client location) and they have the leverage to reject you for that. There are people on bench since 6 months and also people who have never been on bench since 5 years. Its all luck. Nagarro has hired a lot of people in past year and the bench strength is increasing. There are a very few QAs on bench as their demand is high and expectation is low. But as far as developer is considered, every project team expects an expert. Changing project is next to impossible if you ahve not worked in the project for 18 Months. If you are on bench following may be the situation: - You will study new technologies and your same technology and give internal exams for validation. - you will be proposed projects on the tech stack you were working on and there is a high chance that those projects will be in maintenance because they are old ones or there will be not much demand about the old tech stack. - The company doesn't trust you with that you will be able to do work in new tech stack. - So you may be on bench for long time and then you will get some maintenance project. Its an endless loop.
