Pros

- great place to deal with really challenging projects - you give a lot but you receive flexibility, ability to manage and implement important changes - latest Telco Technology is there - maybe I was lucky but all the bosses I had gave me huge trust and flexibility - if you want, you can change your career according to your needs - atmosphere! - a lot of CSR activities around you - almost 10 years in Nokia Wrocław but every new year gives a real opportunity to meet new people, to start new project, to do and check your skills in real projects - proper amount of informations - great handling during current crisis

Cons

- some decisions should have done earlier (it sounds like a buzz word without the context but it came to my mind) - when new projects starts even so obvious mistakes are making (in some areas lessons learned process is not in place)

Pros

1. Big brand name in telco domain . 2. Many wfh 3. No work . One can simply come to office , then play tt .. and go home. 4. One can come at 10 and leave by 6 .

Cons

Everything ... 1. As i have mentioned there is no work, so growth is not there. 2. Too much politics .. 3. From a developer point of view very very less opportunity to learn anything . 4. Although they say that they have the policy of internal job switching but it depends on the manager and his manager, whether you will be released or not . They will threaten people who over tries to switch internal saying.. it will get blocked from higher management. So now u have come to bad book higher management ..etc... So ultimately people leave .. 5. Micro management at its peak level. 6. Rather than doing any actual work, they will spend time for just unnecessary , redundant Meeting and meetings.. and for which delivery gets delayed. when the delivery date comes, if u raise these concerns, they will simply refuse. 7. DON'T join specially if you are developer. U will join as developer.. then u will do testing work .. As there is not much work.. maximum time u will do testing only.. 8. Salary is avg . Less than other product companies.. they will give around 12lpa for 7 exp. If are lateral joining with higher package. Next 2 years u will not get hike. But yeah.. if you want relaxed life.. no work. No career growth. With a decent salary , come to office at 10 and leave by 6 then it is good for u.. that is the reason in Glassdoor every review has that "work life balance" .. Think twice before joining this company. Don't join Just because of brand name..It's your career .

Pros

Bell Labs and the R&D organizations of former Alcatel-Lucent, Lucent Technologies and AT&T were great places to work before the recent acquisition by Nokia. The technical assignments were challenging and cutting edge. The environment encouraged innovation and sharing ideas.

Cons

The environment has changed to a narrow technological vision formulated in Finland. Our teams aren't empowered and no meaningful leadership is recognized outside geographic boundaries. Most important R&D activities were relocated or are in the process of migration to Eastern Europe and Asia. The product development, profitability and ultimately customer satisfaction have suffered from recent corporate strategies. If you are looking for a rewarding engineering career in North America, this isn't the right place.
