They used to be a great company to work for.

The money was great. They used to be great.

Cons

Got too greedy. Overworked. Under staffed. Upper management became terrible and started pushing their work off on the people below them and so on until the field team was expected to project manage themselves and do their original job as well.

Large Corporate with interesting portfolio. Has a good 'story' to customers around the latest technology. Very good in-house competence in products. Global presence. Large variety of roles Good online training

Cons

Hugely soloed - each product line behaves like an isolated third party business. Work/life balance very poor, senior managers focussed on keeping their own silo intact rather than staff or the broader Nokia. Falling market share and dividend suspension likely to lead to more cost cutting. Likely to be outcompeted by Asian vendors or smaller more agile star-ups.
