Very hard to progress for technical minded people. Good place to progress for management type people.

Good work life balance, nice canteen.

Cons

Impossible to progress for technical people. Maybe in old days it was possible, but now its impossible. Nokia looks after management types but not the technical minded types. Lots of hangers on at nokia. People who been there long time on good salary, but hardly do anything useful.

Fair honest good engineers massive potential to leverage existing market share and billions of users

Cons

Too many re-orgs putting the same senior management team in different jobs. re-orgs destroy the social fabric that leads to community innovation building. Too much self preservation currently after head count reductions.
