Pros

Opportunities to learn and make an impact on the world. Career rotation. Huge market presence is rewarding because the results of your work are seen all over the world. Good balance between work and leisure. If you want you can work your ass off but it usually won't be rewarded extra.

Cons

Some members of the top management have been in the company too long and/or are just not competent and/or have made far too many mistakes to be credible among employees anymore. Claiming employees of being cynical does not help - they must go to restore faith. Salaries do not usually reflect extra efforts which is not very rewarding.

In Finland, the working conditions (e.g. flexibility for people with children) are good, even if the salaries are not.

Cons

Nokia Finland looks to attract the best skills while only paying at a mediocre level. Pay rises are poor and extra efforts are usualy not rewarded.

Big and famous company, on the way of transffering jobs to China &india, so make some chances for the local people to develop. good work life balance

Cons

still have not get out the mess of the merger, lose about 2 years in competetion in the wireless front. the overall response time to the market is too slow.
