Pros

Very smart people. Intersting technology.

Cons

Every company meeting the CEO gives a speech about the lousy economy, etc. which we all know means here comes the speech about why we again are going to be screwed on bonuses and raises. In the mean time he is doing quite well. When I relocated I had to squeeze moving expensese out of them, it was pitiful and there was a lot of griping. A Sr. Manager told me he has never seen a raise. We're expected to work on Enterprise software on our laptops because no one wants to invest in the proper infrastructure (VM lab, etc). They trust kids working offshore who do incompetent work because they are cheap more than they trust us. But the rest of us take the blame when they screw things up. The company doesn't seem to get the Web - most software requires Windows and IE.

Pros

In total a relaxing yet rewarding place to work. i would surmise it as a flexible working environment with top down support when. Mangement led by example

Cons

Genuinly did not have any issues there. The company grew both organically and by that of acquisition. Post acquisition things were difficult but the again that is the nature of change. On the whole nothing to be concerned about

Pros

Work at home with a somewhat flexible schedule.

Cons

Horrible upper management that doesn't understand what its employees do and couldn't care less about them. Rather, it pays middle management to "cheer lead" and apologize for its shortcomings. Company is profitable because it exploits capable people with 20 years' experience in their field and can get away with it because workers in India can do the same work for $4/hour.
