Pros

Starting salaries are decent if you aren't a bought out company. Speech Recognition is an interesting field to be in.

Cons

There is little to no communication from Senior Management down to other managers. There is no organization within the company, all acquired companies have no idea of how Nuance does things. Raises are few and far between and are usually 3% at most. The internal IT policy is a joke and company equipment is ancient. Benefits are not very good.

Good place to work if you don't mind bureaucracy.

Pros

A lot of freedom, great technology. Nice to work in a place where you can actually help customers save time/money and get appraisal for your work.

Cons

Salaries are not up to par. Everybody seems to have their hands full and it takes a long time to get things done.
