Pros

Working from home only. Absolutely no pros for the company.

Cons

Accentus (part of Nuance). Accentus was a good place to work until bought out by Nuance. Now, the worst ever. After 4 years and 8 months with Accentus (2 plus years as part of Nuance), I was told I HAD to increase my hours worked. I was working 25 hours a week. I was doing 1000+ minutes every 4 weeks. I was told that there was no flexibility in the minutes and I had to do them. I quit. They are bullies. After spending over $4000.00 to take the course, I am now not working. You are not person with bills to pay to them. You are a small cog in a very big wheel that is expendable. My 1000+ minutes for them are no more. I was moved from account to account with different platforms and then back, where ever they needed me, and this is the thanks I get. Save your dignity and pride and go and work at Walmart for minimum wage because at least there you will probably be appreciated.

Pros

Very flexible and accommodating (time-off, time you come in or leave, etc.). Good benefits for high performers. Opportunities to grow and switch roles.

Cons

Not enough resources so the workload is very heavy. Getting approval for simple things ends up taking forever due to the process being so complex (typical of large companies). Salaries are under market average.

Too Many Managers, Not Enough Talent

Pros

It feels like it's almost impossible to get fired even though it's general knowledge that certain people are extremely lazy and incompetent. People wait around to get laid off.

Cons

The talented workers always leave, so the quality of the product suffers. There are more managers than workers who actually design, build, and test the product. Managers are way overpaid it makes me sick. I always have to work while on vacation because my manager can't do my job.
