Pros

Its a large global company and as such as normal large company benefits like employee stock options, opportunities to work on large scale projects.

Cons

The management and leadership of the company is very out of touch with the actual day to day operations. The amount of money taken by the CEO and upper management team is criminal. Especially since hourly employees are required to log hours worked against company approved project codes. The company has no business strategy and instead acquires new companies each year and has them compete internally for resources and budget. Budgets are very small and frequently reduced without warning. For business travel the employee is required to apply for a company AMEX card in their name and be responsible for the bill. If Nuance does not reimburse then the employee is responsible for the total cost (air plan ticket, hotel cost, food).
