Pros

A lot of very smart people who are willing to work hard for the company.

Cons

Poor upper management. High turnover. They continue to buy up small companies but do not know how to integrate them or utilize the talents they acquire.

Pros

Loved most of the folks I worked with. Compensation was pretty good. Great upward mobility if you are ready to take on an insane amount of responsibility (work) with vey little ability to actually accomplish stuff. Work life balance in Seattle office is incredible. Can't speak for other offices.

Cons

Depends what products you are working on, but generally more sales obligations than engineers to solve problems. Overleveraged. Great demos but no real experience building and releasing a great product with mass-market applications. Very tough competitive positioning with respect to Google, Yahoo, etc, if the company is unwilling to invest in R&D. Culture is a little stale as there are a lot of lifers. Very risk averse. CEO is overpaid.
