Pros

I'm an MLS. The accounts that I work on are all critical care and are all really interesting, for the most part. The Team Leaders are great.

Cons

The benefits are pretty good, but the pay isn't. Those of us doing medical transcription and editing have a very important job, yet we're paid as though we're working on an assembly line in a factory.

Pros

No commute. Can work in your PJs. I can swear all I want at these horrible dictators and no one can hear me. Makes for a great story when I tell everyone about how awful it is to work here.

Cons

Endless amount of cons. Waking up and not wanting to open my email to tons of nastygrams from TL as they make up rules as they go along. Changed platform and everyone had to buy and downgrade to Word 2007 (special order from the past) with unpaid training. When there is an abundance of work, everyone is supposed to drop everything and help out. They keep cramming down your throat that we are behind. When their system is down and you can't work, they are reprimanding you on why you couldn't meet your minimums. Everything is your fault. You are not expected to have a life beyond your keyboard. If you log off to go eat, they ask you why you didn't do the next report. A lot of unpaid time spent on logging minutes into tracker, corrections, etc. Seriously, get a paper route, it pays better and has more benefits than this. After being here for a year, I'm done. I got my one year's experience, I'm moving on.
