Pros

Nuance is a great place for individuals who want to advance their career and get exposed to a very diverse go to market model. I have learned more in my 4 years at Nuance than I did at multiple companies throughout the rest of my career.

Cons

It does require hard work and can be fast paced at times because Nuance is very acquisitive and focused on maintaining the number one position in the market. It is worth it though as the hard work pays off. Nuance has a good track record of promoting from within.

Pros

Fast-paced organization with leading edge technologies. The management teams are very good and the peer network is amazing. There are a lot of smart people here that are great to interact with. There are also a lot of long term employees here, so that creates a "family" and community feel. We often know each other personally and professionally.

Cons

Nuance is in the middle of several very competitive marketplaces. The competitors are constantly shifting and trying to keep up is difficult. We also expand our business through acquisitions, so there is a steady stream of new things that must learned. This is fun and exciting, but also can be exhausting.

Pros

People here are nice and polite. Workload depends on what you're working at. In most of cases I know from others, they are happy with what they are doing, and I feel the same way too. My manager and VP the division I am in are very nice person.

Cons

When you learn staff in Nuance, it could be hard since technical documents are sometimes incomplete or out of date. sometimes it takes too much time on learning something on your own.
