Pros

Interesting Work: The projects are engaging and intellectually stimulating, offering a great platform to leverage your skills and creativity. Scope for Impact: There's plenty of opportunities to do impactful work, which can be very rewarding.

Cons

Toxic and Incompetent Management: Unfortunately, management, in my case, my immediate manager, was toxic and lacked the competence required to lead effectively. This negatively affected team morale and productivity. Favoritism: There is a noticeable level of favoritism, by the immediate manager, which lead to a lack of recognition for hardworking employees who weren’t part of the favored group. Uncertainty Around Funding: The financial stability of projects is often in question, causing uncertainty and stress about job security and the future of ongoing work.
