Pros

Generally a good work life balance. Nice coworkers. Decent corporate culture. Often open to telework long before COVID, even if only a weekly work from home day.

Cons

Low pay (healthcare industry in general). Very, very small annual pay increases. Always looking to cut costs. Promotions are rare unless you have the right friends or happen to work for a rising star that also likes you and your work.

Pros

Very good health insurance plan and a matched pension up to 10% as you become more senior

Cons

US health care system is very complex and if you are not familiar with it, it can be challenging to understand.
