Good Company

Pros

Encouraging environment with open communication in many teams. Generally flexible work hours and a culture that respects personal time. Access to new technologies, internal training, and good mentorship in most teams.

Cons

Experience varies significantly by team your growth and visibility largely depend on your immediate manager. In some cases, managers hold disproportionate power — favoritism and "buttering" can influence opportunities and recognition. Feedback or dissent may not always be welcomed, especially in hierarchically strong teams. Compensation growth is slow.

Pros

Flexible scheduling made it easy to balance work with personal life. Pay was fair for the responsibilities involved. Appreciated getting paid for holidays, which is not always offered in similar roles. Great coworkers and a collaborative environment among peers.

Cons

Flexibility sometimes meant inconsistent hours week to week. Limited growth opportunities in the long term. Management was disorganized and lacked clear communication. Feedback was rarely acknowledged or acted on. Decisions often felt reactive rather than planned. Little to no support or training from supervisors.

Good luck with salary increases

Pros

You get two 15 minute breaks, 30 minute lunch, and PTO (but good luck trying to use the PTO). Health insurance is decent. Training is great. The team is very big.

Cons

You do not get any real salary increases, so expect to keep making about what you started off with. It is based off your performance- which totally makes sense. My performance review was about perfect from my manager, but even then my salary increase was pennies (I’m actually making less than I did last year due to benefits increasing). I’m actively searching for a new job because with inflation, I can’t keep up. I do like working here for the most part. I don’t mind all the hard work we do but I wish we got compensation for it. There’s also a lot of favoritism within the ABA team.

Great pay, benefits, and on-going training.

Cons

Corporate mindset of $$ over patient care. Performance based on numbers. Politics, bureaucracy, micro-management.
