Pros

Greatly managed company. Stable workplace. A lot of opportunities to gain technical knowledge. Generous health benefits. Good company facilities like the gym.

Cons

Compensation can fall behind industry trend with years with the company. A big company means one will be in charge of just a small piece of software with limited challenge. Career advancement opportunities above a certain level may be limited.
