Great communities for networking plus super experienced tech staff all around. Great place if you intent to be in core Java for a long time and don't ming working on Oracle's own tech stack, good salary and perks. Great name/brand in the industry.

Cons

Too many older folks with older technology mindset running the company. Very old and proprietary tech stack that has stagnated. No innovation encouraged. Most teams don't have any actual career discussions with manager, goal setting, performance evaluation etc. Other than OCI, products not doing that great in the market compared to strong competitors.
