Pros

- Flexible timings and plenty of WFH options. - No restrictions on the laptops or the computers provided to you. You can browse websites, install required software and use pen drives etc. - If you want to take care of your family only and no longer interested in your career, then this is the best organization for you. Also if you want to start your own organization, then you can join Oracle and chase your dreams.

Cons

- Absolutely worthless company. Should be banned from IT industry. No hikes, no appraisals, nothing. No HR policies for appraisal cycle. It completely depends on VP and they don't believe in giving yearly hikes. There are several good candidates who didn't get hike for 3-4 years continuously and finally left. - Most of the projects work in Waterfall model and Oracle as an industry is trying to live up to modern day demands like Continuous Delivery and Agile. - Forget your career and growth if you want to stay in Oracle for long. Certainly this organization is not a good place for performers. That is the reason several talented people are leaving this organization in a short span and joining better product development and cloud organizations. - Oracle is a dying organization because many of its hot products have good competition now. Say for example most of the organizations are moving towards Cassandra, MongoDB and other non oracle databases. Server side applications and reporting tools of Oracle are also on a downside. They are working more on ADF which has very less outside market demands.
