Pros

Individual's experience is largely based on the team & org. For me I have seen good management in my org which is a smaller org within Fusion Applications Org - Good exposure for learning. Access to oracle learnings & certifications available, Hackathons - Management was good in terms of acknowledging & rewarding - Good visibility till VP level - Good campus with all amenities, a dedicated building for gym, games, etc in OTH, Bangalore - Good comp - Increased paternity leave recently to 10 weeks - Seen RSU refreshers every year - Adds good brand image on your profile - Internal team transfers are smooth

Cons

- Internal Appraisals are slow, hikes are not much generally. - Heard lot of negative reviews from other teams. So, experience depends on team & org - No transport facility to office - No travel opportunities to other geographical locations for IC roles

Pros

Work-Life Balance & Flexibility: Known for good WLB, often with manageable 7.5-8.5 hour days and options for remote work. Stability & Security: A large, established company providing strong job security. Learning & Innovation: Opportunities to learn new technologies and work with advanced products. Good Benefits (Sometimes): Decent joining compensation, perks like free drinks, and good 401k matching in the US. Good Culture (Team-Based): Less internal competition due to known low hikes, with managers focusing on escalations rather than micromanagement.

Cons

Poor Compensation Growth: Frequent complaints about very low salary hikes, infrequent appraisals (sometimes yearly vs. every two years), and underpaying tenured staff compared to new hires. Limited Career Advancement: Difficulty getting promotions, with unclear pathways for quick advancement.
