Promises promises

Pros

Working for the product maker/developer makes implementing 'easier' but not friendlier

Cons

Promotions are very few if any even though continuously promised. Raises are never. But expectations to work at all cost to you and your family never ends.

Pros

Pays tremendously well even for new college hires. Not much pressure to work too hard.

Cons

Completely stagnant work. Haven't had a single thing to do since starting. The company seems to be doing really well but is extremely inefficient. There's rarely anything to do. At least the Burlington and Santa Clara offices are giant buildings with many offices secluded from each other, making collaboration impossible. The office culture is virtually nonexistent. There are breakrooms everywhere but for some unknown reason, they are stocked with only sugary drinks and tea. Average age is pretty high.
