Pros

Work from Home facility. Good salary given while joining, good bonus(variable) pay. Job safety. Branding. Respect in industry and from Clients. Company has deep pockets and gives good facilities to its employees. Good resources(study material) for improving our technical and domain knowledge. Good number of earned, casual and sick leaves. Company cares well for its employees. Work culture is good as its based on Mutual trust and respect. Get good knowledge on their products. The offices contain Gymnasium which is very good.

Cons

Promotions can take little bit more time than as compared to other companies. Some times company may not give annual salary increments. Onsite opportunities are very rare and if they exist it would be mostly short term and even in that you cannot make money(from per diem) as company would keep you in the best of hotels and provide you with the best of transportation and best of food but for all this company would pay directly. Its not like you can save anything. So you can work and enjoy your onsite stay but saving some money is not possible unlike other IT-Service based companies which pay you some money in cash for food and transport etc.

Pros

In my team I have great work life balance. There are plenty of offices all around the country so you can work remotely from other offices if management approves. The engineering peers are very pleasant to deal with.

Cons

There are plenty of teams which have high stress jobs. You don't tend to find many young professionals here because of the extremely poor bonuses and hikes (sometimes zero irrespective of performance) once you are hired. Most people stay because they have been in Oracle for 10+ years and have gotten comfortable doing what they do. Hikes are not tied to promotion so I have been promoted thrice but my pay has kind of remained same in the past six years. Most new hires would be paid much higher than me now.
