      good 401k/healthcare benefits and I enjoy working remote

      been here for 3 years, but unless you're hitting quota you're going to make less money year over year due to increased quotas and decreased commission. (also uncommon to hit quota, only 10% of reps maybe). sales process way too elongated and the administrative work/kpis/metrics have taken over the role. AE are just glorified BDR, you will spend 75% of your time prospecting and cold calling. The bdr organization is a complete mess and most of them aren't even doing their job, all bogus leads. extremely competitive environment even amongst immediate team members, not fun to be in.

      Great Money, Tough Job

      Pros

      My team and manager were awesome, a lot of great people at NetSuite. Amazing experience with great companies and clients. Pay is great once you start closing deals.

      Cons

      Definitely a "sales" job. Management would push to close deals that would scorn customers and burn relationships just to hit a number.
