Pros

The name is great for your resumé. Whenever you hear Oracle in the IT world you know you are working for one of the greatest in the industry. They promote working from home, which is great to balance your personal- and worklife. Remote management is in this case a great pro; no-one breathing down your neck.

Cons

But that is about it. The company is a factory and you are nothing more than a number to them. Support is outsourced to Romania or India/China, which means you get made redundant after 9+ years experience. You get a laughable amount of money to get lost; preferrably as soon as possible. There is no room for promotion and even if you do get a promotion; it does not warrant any payrise whatsoever. Nor do any yearly reviews (I had 9 years of straight 5/5 reviews, but got nada. Not even a pat on the shoulder) New hires get hired with nearly 50% more pay without any (relevant) work experience and you are required to share all you knowledge (only to get replaced after that) If you want to make your resumé look pretty; make sure you get in high and only stay for a year or 2 to 3 and then leave before your soul gets sucked out of your miserable worklife.

Pros

The gym was great. Work/life balance was good.

Cons

Boring, pointless projects for boring pointless product teams. Zero budget for the tools and equipment needed. Mediocrity. The company runs on it. Co-workers range from fantastic to full-on stab you in the back types. The company has no sense of design either. No set design language. No design thinking. It's a mess.

Pros

Good Wages. Honestly that is it for Pros Colleagues are great manager/ senior management are the problem

Cons

Depressing culture in Business Development Group. Everyone looking for another job and trying to get out as fast as possible. Changed our role without consulting us. Targets un-achievable and high pressure to make these impossible targets. Intense micro managing of every single move..
