      Pros

      Working at home is not a problem. We are effectively reviewed every minute of every day by the quality of work, as defined by our customers. Lots to learn, if you take advantage. Great benefits. Salary + overtime.

      Cons

      Raises/promotions just don't happen, ever. Been there over 8 years, and 2 raises. Have consistently scored quite high on reviews, and Oracle is making money hand over fist. But they don't share the wealth with their employees. You don't work at Oracle for the money. And sometimes the job satisfaction lacks, as higher management treat you poorly.

      Office is close to the M4 Motorway Coffee from the machines is drinkable Canteen food is edible Arrogance of management is hysterically funny

      Difficult to know where to start. That the company autonomously run by a joker who swans around his japanese garden in robes is a big clue. Anyone who dares to question Larry's omnipotence and omniescence becomes an immediate pariah. Anyone remember Oracle's answer to the PC ? The Network Computer aka NC ? I was one of the guys who spent weeks trying to get the stupid things to work in the certain knowledge that it was a waste of time and a huge amount of money. Things kind of went downhill from there.
