      Place that could be GREAT!

      Pros

      The availability to work with great knowledgeable people and solutions.. People on the majority are nice to deal with. Technology is leading edge.

      Cons

      If you don't work in Sales or HQ you will have very little chance to climb the ladder. There is a lot of separation among teams, if you have to work with an other team not associated with yours there is a lot of politics you have to go through. The review process is a joke.. Oracle just does it to make themselves look good and there upper managers sleep well at night. Even though Oracle posted great numbers there is no bonus, or raise. Getting a promotion entails allot of politics and longevity.

      Pros

      It's stable, and the work is interesting. I do credit executive management for keeping the company stable through these turbulent times.

      Cons

      It has gotten very stressful in the last 2 years, with management asking for more and more 'productivity' with fewer people. This translates to poor morale, and ultimately bad products. The people who have been with the company longest, know the most, are now the worst paid. Does that make sense? The raises really tanked after 2000, followed by the stock options, and then the bonuses disappeared. How do we share in the company's success?

      compensation is good when you make a sale decent flexibility to work where you want looks good on the resume

      Cons

      unorganized sales effort Mgt are mostly clueless jerks too many hands in the pot the accts you work determine your success very high stress
