Pros

Financial stability and product leadership. The results are that in tough times like we're experiencing now, there is more opportunities and safety. For instance, the sales organization has built up a war chest that will prevent any RIF's for a substantial period of time. The products for the most part are leaders in their respective spaces and where there are gaps, the overall strategy to build out an entire integrated application and technology suite can trump the "best of breed" advantage.

Cons

It's a BIG company and there is a good amount of process (documented and undocumented) as well as a fair amount of politics to navigate.

Pros

Stability of Company - it's doing pretty well when others are being bought up Flexible work hours, at least for some teams, it depends on your manager. Knowledgeable people to work with, alot of smart people here Training Opportunities are good to increase your skills with classes and some money for education

Cons

Pay and bonuses are low, and you usually don't get regular salary increases, and if you do, it isn't much. Can be hard to move very far up and take on more challenges since it's such a huge company, so you have a lot of competition up the ranks. The Executives are paid way more than their peers at other companies, while the workers are underpaid, so it can make you feel very unappreciated.

Pros

The have an extensive software product line. You could learn JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, and Siebel. If management permits, you have opportunities learn products that may further your career. The company name will look good on your resume. The benefits are comparable for a company of this size.

Cons

They view employees strictly as headcount. A person can get lost in all the bureaucracy. The current bonus structure for consulting does not compete with other services organizations. If you do not like large organizations, then this is not the company for you. If you are joining as a consultant, then you need to come in with a solid base salary. The bonus' have not been that good since I have been with them. There seems to be a reorganization every other quarter. When it comes time for an annual review some people will have had 3+ managers in a 12 month period.
